Event Overview

Top Threat and Backyard Sports are teaming up to bring you a world-class experience. With the advent of NIL, college players can now leverage their name, image, and likeness to headline camps and clinics. The Hometown Heroes Clinic, held in Naples, FL, is a one-day, highly competitive, and challenging showcase. Players will receive coaching from high-level college players from Florida, focusing on learning and improving in a competitive environment. It's the perfect tune-up before a competitive weekend at the SAT. Attendees will also have the opportunity to interact with D1 coaches and players for real advice and feedback before hitting the field at the SAT. Join us and work with some of the best in College Lacrosse.

Meet the coaches:

Allie Pebbles has had an impressive lacrosse career, highlighted by her recent inclusion in the 2023 SSC All-Tournament Team. In her junior year at UT, she played in all 21 games, starting in 13, tallying 33 points with 27 goals and 6 assists. Defensively, Pebbles contributed with 22 ground balls, 19 draw controls, and 7 caused turnovers. Her accuracy was evident with an 80% shot-on-goal percentage, taking 50 shots with 40 on target. As a sophomore at UMass Amherst, she played in 7 games as a defender, registering 2 ground balls and causing 2 turnovers. Notably, she picked up a ground ball and forced a turnover in a 22-8 victory against George Washington. In her freshman year at UMass Amherst in 2021, Pebbles was part of the A10 Championship team.

Sophi Wrisk has had a remarkable lacrosse journey, earning numerous honors and awards. In 2024, she was named Second Team All-SSC, IWLCA Offensive Player of the Week, and SSC Tournament Most Outstanding Player. Wrisk also received the Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week award. In 2023, as a sophomore at the University of Tampa, she made significant contributions in 20 games, scoring 35 points and excelling defensively with 11 ground balls, 29 draw controls, and 7 caused turnovers. Notably, she had a five-goal game against No. 19 Saint Leo. Wrisk began her collegiate career at the University of Maryland, where as a freshman in 2022, she won the Big 10 Tournament and appeared in four games. In 2021, she redshirted as a true freshman at Maryland.

Lane Calkins, a native of Naples, Florida, made notable contributions during the 2023 lacrosse season, appearing in seven games for Princeton, with one start. She scored two goals and provided one assist, showcasing her offensive skills. Before joining Princeton, Calkins earned impressive accolades, including being named a US Lacrosse All-American twice and an Under Armour Underclass All-American twice. She was recognized as the 2022 Florida State Player of the Year and was a finalist for the 2022 USA Today's Player of the Year award. Graduating with impressive career statistics, including setting records in goals, draw controls, and ground balls at her high school, Calkins was also recognized for her leadership as a team captain and received various awards for her academic and athletic achievements. Additionally, she participated in soccer and swimming and held leadership roles in extracurricular activities such as the National Honor Society and class vice presidency.
